Hex needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start?
Hex (full name Hex Thunder) earned his name by being totally unconcerned about thunder and lightning. Instead he makes his own rumbles running on his cat wheel. Hex doesn’t fear fireworks either, but he’s horrified by vacuums. Other dislikes include: the bottom of the Churu tube, being carried, and whenever humans aren’t around to serve him. His favorites: other cats, flopping on the floor so hard you think he might break something, and nibbling gently on humans to show his deep affection. Hex is a natural heart breaker (he was born with congenital heart issues, which have largely been addressed with surgery). He is currently on oral medication twice a day, which he takes easily without a fuss. He’s otherwise very healthy and rambunctious, uses his litter box faithfully, loves his daily lap time, and is the handsomest boy with the biggest eyes you’ve ever seen. Hex loves silly shenanigans, making his foster family burst out laughing multiple times a day. He’s one of those cats who you suspect might just be a person stuffed in a tiny fur suit because of his frequent chatter and his personality. He enjoys stroller time or leashed walks in the backyard. At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.

Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient.
