Meet the sweet spring seedlings, Sprig and Sprout! These boys are two peas in a pod- curious, sociable, cuddly, and playful. They are ripe for the picking and ready to begin the new chapter of their life, hopefully together! Sprout is a cool, laid back, confident boy. Not a lot of things bother this kid, and he takes everything in stride in a quiet and self-assured manner. He is not afraid to explore the nooks and crannies of his surroundings; being the leader of the seedling duo and showing his little brother all of the best spots for games, wrestling, snuggling, and sunbathing. This cool cat loves to supervise and, sometimes, help with daily household activities. The refrigerator is Sprout’s idea of the greatest adventure-though he is not generally bothered about being shooed out and away. He truly knows no fear. While Sprig has no time or interest in entertaining the big, energetic puppy of the household, Sprout will entertain his shenanigans. Once he is done with the puppy, rather than getting upset and swatting him, he simply moves to one of the places the puppy can’t reach to recharge for the next activity. Even with all his independence and confidence, Sprout loves to be pet and will eagerly snuggle up next to his people and brother. He is always happy to see and greet you with a lazy stretch and a glimpse of his cheetah belly. Like Sprig, he loves to play with all the toys, and his curiosity makes him a joy to introduce new things to. He is only part of a truly magnificent pair. He is ready to meet you and lead you and his little brother to the next adventure!
At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days. Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.
**Dog/Puppy applications -
Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com**
