Compassionate Caregivers

Things happen. It's life. Sometimes those things can temporarily prevent someone for fully caring for their pet. They may be recovering from a surgery or illness and can't lift that 30 pound bag of food or kitty litter or walk their furbabies. They may have suffered a flood or have pests or some other issue in their home making it temporarily unable to safely house a pet. There can be any number of circumstances...

LAWS believes that a temporary setback shouldn't force someone to surrender their pets permanently, thus the Compassionate Care program. Compassionate Caregivers could do anything from dog walking or stopping in to let a pet out a few times a day and making sure they have food and water, to temporarily housing and caring for a pet as a Foster Home for a short time.
