Meet Clio

Clio is a stunning 5-year-old, pure white German Shepherd who’s as loyal as he is handsome. Weighing in around 100 pounds, Clio is a big, confident dog who loves to be part of the action. He enjoys car rides, walks, and spending time with his people, especially if there’s an adventure involved.

Clio knows his basic commands, walks nicely on leash, and responds well to structure and consistency. He’s currently continuing his training and doing great with it! Clio would do best in an active, experienced home with no small children and adopters familiar with large-breed dogs. He may do well with another calm dog after a proper introduction but hasn’t been tested with cats.

This handsome boy spends most of his time indoors and thrives on companionship. He’s eager to find a home where he’ll be included in daily life, whether that means hikes, car rides, or simply relaxing nearby.

Clio recently had the tip of his tail amputated due to an old injury but is recovering beautifully and feeling much more comfortable.

If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who will be by your side through everything, Clio might just be your perfect match.

At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.

**Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email lawsdogprogram@gmail.com**
