These delicious snacks are finally looking for a home to call their own! The Indian kittens are made of sugar, spice, and everything nice, which includes robust purrs, button noses, and black and pink toe beans. This litter of ginger boys and their calico sister began life outdoors and took some time learning how to live in a house with people, gentle dogs, and other cats. Because they have grown up in an environment full of other living beings, we recommend they be adopted in pairs, or at the very least, into a household with another friendly cat or kitten. As they have grown up in an indoor only environment, they have not developed the street sense necessary to survive the natural and manmade threats of the outdoors and should remain indoor only kittens (but would likely love to learn how to walk on a leash or have access to a contained catio area).

Tandoori: Tandoori is a bright orange striped tabby with a classic tuxedo pattern. This boy generally tends to be quiet and reserved when he asks for pets, preferring to keep his feet on the ground, and flop over to his side for maximum hand coverage and prime air biscuit making space. He has a gentle purr and a tiny meow, which he uses to call out to his human friends. Tandoori, along with the rest of his siblings, loves to help with household chores, from anything as mundane as tying shoes, to house plant care, to supervising kitchen activities and homework assignments. He is shy with newcomers and is not an overly needy or clingy kitten. He is very creative when it comes to entertainment, and anything can become a toy and a game in an instant! He loves to chase and wrestle his siblings just as much as he loves grooming them. At night, he will initiate kitten cuddle puddles and softly sing his siblings to sleep as he grooms them. Tandoori has brought so much joy into his foster home with his inquisitive nature and tender heart, which he is so excited to share with a family of his very own!

At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes up to 7 days.  Keep in mind, the kitten/cat you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals.   Due to COVID-19, we are highly encouraging foster homes and adopters to speak with one another via phone or video chat to limit in-person contact. If meeting in person at a foster home or at our adoption center, everyone is encouraged to wear masks and socially distance.   Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100 % foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.

**Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email Dogs@laramieanimals.org**
